(ThyBlackMan.com) We’re halfway through the Fortnite Season 5 and considering this progress, some fans are still clueless about where the game is going. This deep cluelessness has no connection with those doom and gloom predictions that say Fortnite is dying or there’s no future for the game after Season 5. Fans are clueless because this time Epic really failed to convey a clear message.
So even after five weekly challenges of Fortnite Season 5, players couldn’t get the answers. For the Season 4, Epic shared updates in a very clear manner. It helped players set the right expectations with the season. For the Season 5, Epic published a detailed blog suggesting what’s coming for players this time. Everything’s there except one thing – the theme.
In the last season, everybody knew that they are going to get some superhero-themed action with a touch of some movie-related content in Save the World game mode. This year, Epic couldn’t convey the message with that much clarity. If you look at the Season 5 announcement and compare it with the Season 4, there’s a noticeable difference in how poorly Epic has crafted the message this year.
In the Fortnite Season 4, Epic introduced some major changes in the story. We saw the map was changing and evolving. Every week there were some changes and many other things were being added. We saw how maps were getting new points of interest and how things were changing even if you were in Battle Royale. That’s not happening in the Fortnite Season 5..
There are new locations on the map and some new points of interest also exist in the Season 5, but they all look so odd and nothing special is there to be excited about. This time, it looks like Epic has just thrown these things here and there without even considering the meaningful changes they brought in the Season 4.
Before the Fortnite Season 5 update, Epic told us that we can expect some intense competition when the new season kicks off. We have seen like 5 weekly challenges but competitiveness is still not there, especially for a majority of Fortnite players. There are events in which, only a very small number of elite players can take part, but what about the others? Sadly, for the core game, Epic is still not capable of removing bots and spam. That’s the reason there’s no way…
