Fortnite’s Equalizer Glider warns of nuclear missile launch

Players have discovered that the 14 Days of Fortnite Equalizer Glider features an interesting note which may tease what’s to come in Season 8.

A yellow warning label can be found on the metal exterior of the Glider. While it may not seem to be of interest upon first glance, closer inspection reveals an intriguing warning.

It’s very possible that this could be the first teaser for Fortnite Season 8, Epic Games has previously teased upcoming events via in-game items.

Nuclear missile launched!

The message seems to have first been discovered by Redditors on /r/FortniteBR. Posting an image of the Glider bugged in-game which allowed them to see the warning.

Some players theorize that this is simply a reference to the Rocket Launch events of Fortnite Season 4. However, others have disproved this theory due to The Visitor’s Rocket not being nuclear.

While The Visitor’s Rocket did have significant impact on the storyline and map of Fortnite, it did not necessarily cause nuclear destruction.

The storyline implications of a nuclear rocket impact on the Fortnite map would be huge. As per usual, some players theorize that this will finally bring an entirely new map to Fortnite’s Battle Royale mode.

What are your thoughts on this? While the yellow metal is featured on many Gliders in the game, this warning label has yet to appear elsewhere and therefore may be a Season 8 teaser.
