Top Five 4th of July Fortnite Concepts – Stormwing Parade, Bald Eagle Skin, and more

Independence Day brings out the best in us and we’d like to see it bring out the best in Fortnite as well. Maybe a Neo Tilted fireworks displays, barbecues, and one oversized American flag covering the sky?

We’ll admit it, July the 4th gets our blood pumping as we think about the food, the parties, and other activities. Independence Day, for any American, means a great deal and we’d love to Fortnite light up in the red, white, and blue again this year.

Epic Games has been hesitant to lean into country based content too heavily, but have shown some support in the form of skins and minor events. The Stranger Things X Fortnite crossover will arrive alongside any planned July the 4th festivities, but we’ve got some ideas of our own for the biggest American holiday.

New & Old July 4th America Themed Fortnite Skins

This one’s a no-brainer. A July 4th Fortnite celebration would not be complete without our favorite star-spangled troopers. We’ll likely see the America themed skins return and we’d be awfully disappointed if they didn’t.

In addition to these older skins, new outfits would absolutely boost sales and liven up the event. Everybody loves to shop for American themed gear on July 4th. Epic’s marketing team doesn’t usually let opportunities like this pass them by.

What are we most hoping for in a new skin? Well, what else says “‘Merica!” like running around the Fortnite map in a bald eagle costume?

Stormwings flying overhead with colored trails

A common feature of American Independence Day parades are the flying jets with red, white, and blue trails. New York City hosts one of the largest of these parades each year.

Fortnite doesn’t have fighter jets, but it does include the now vaulted Stormwings. Many players have asked for their return, so perhaps Epic could temporarily unvault these for some festive fun. Each plane would spray a trail of color into the skies behind it.

Or, if that’s not to your fancy, a simple scripted event as the clock strikes 12:00am EST where a squadron of Stormwings flies overhead and replicates the real world Independence Day fly-by. Naturally, all of this would already have to be pre-planned well ahead of time.
