Fortnite ’s Winter Royale finals are nearly underway, and we’ve got all the details you should know about standings, times, rules, scoreboards and more. Check out our full recap bellow.
What time do the Fortnite Winter Royale Finals start?
The finals are expected to run from 5 p.m. EST to 9 p.m. EST Dec. 12. Given delays and unforeseen technical difficulties, these start and end times may not be exact.

As has been the case during the Winter Royale qualifiers and semi-finals, the finals will be available to stream on the official Fortnite Twitch and YouTube channels. YouTube generally works a little better on lower-end hardware, but we’ve embedded the Twitch stream for your convenience. Participating streamers may also be hosting matches on their Twitch channels as well.

Here’s a list of players, streamers and content creators taking part in the Winter Royale Finals later today. This graphic may be a bit too small to see everybody, but we’ll update this article with the official team list soon after it becomes available.
Fortnite Winter Royale Finals Rules, Scoreboard and Standings
The rule format for today’s Winter Royale Finals is listed below. It’s a fairly traditional Big Bonus setup.
- Victory Royale: Three Points
- Second/Third Place: Two Points
- Fourth-10th Place: One Point
- Seven or more Eliminations: Three Points
- Five or six Eliminations: Two Points
- Three or four Eliminations: One Point
- Big Bonus: One Point added for each Elimination after seven
Based on those point totals, here’s a look at the prize pool:
- First: $75,000
- Second: $60,000
- Third: $45,000
- Fourth: $35,000
- Fifth: $30,000
- Sixth: $22,500
- Seventh: $17,000
- Eighth: $14,000
- Ninth: $10,000
- 10th: $9,000
- 11th-15th: $6,000
- 16th-20th: $2,500
- 21st-100th: $1,500
- Most Eliminations during Stage 3 gets a bonus of $20,000
Standings and the first scoreboard have yet to arrive, but we’ll do our best to keep you updated on the totals as they come in.
