‘Fortnite’ Frozen Legends Skin Bundle Leaks Online Where Iced-Over Classics Return

Fortnite has a lot of plans for the holiday season including a “14 Days of Fortnite” event with new challenges and prizes, the modification of classic Christmas skins, and the return of some old favorites.

The past few weeks we have seen some leaks implying that there will be “iced” versions of old Fortnite skins, and now we know where this was all heading. Today’s patch brings with it a first look at these re-skinned skins, and the collection they’re all going to be in, the “Frozen Legends” bundle.

What qualifies as a legend?

Well, above we have Frozen Red Knight (via FortniteNews), which is now technically a Blue Knight. This would have been a good pairing with the Infinity Blade but uh, you know.

After that we have an iced over version of cupid, the Frozen Love Ranger skin, which actually looks pretty awesome:

And then finally there’s a more recent skin, Frozen Raven (via @crossleaks), a snowbound version of the spooky, apparently modern classic:

What is not yet known is how much this bundle will cost, but reportedly it’s a “starter pack” type deal that should also come with V-bucks. These three skins are all Legendary tier, so it’s possible this might end up being pretty expensive. I’d expect no less than $20, which still would technically be a good “deal” compared to how it would be if the skins were sold separately.

Will the skins be sold separately? My guess would be yes, as Epic will miss out on potential sales for people who just want one and not the others. But the bundle will likely be the best deal and save you some money if you were going to buy all three of them anyway.

There are other holiday skins that have leaked alongside these frozen ones, and you can check them out here. No word on if they might be a part of a different bundle, but my guess would be no. We also could see more frozen-over skins in the future, or this could be it. I would not mind seeing a frozen Cuddle Team Leader, a frozen Brite Bomber or a frozen Crackshot.

No word on exactly when this is going to hit the store, but if all these skins are now in the backend of the game, my guess would be in the next couple of days once the 14 Days of Fortnite event gets started. We have also been promised the return of other Christmas skins, and I would expect a variety of new ones as well, even past the ones that have leaked here.
